Aquilani Fails Juventus Medical, To Undergo Second One

It seems that Alberto Aquilani's proposed loan move to Juventus has hit a stumbling block and, surprise surprise, it appears to have something to do with his fitness. After a medical that lasted six hours on Monday, he will undergo more tests on Tuesday. But his agent still appears confident of pushing through a deal: “It is all good. He will undergo more tests [but] everything is going well, up to schedule.”

Alberto Aquilani is to undergo a 2nd medical with Juventus tomorrow after Italian doctors refused to give him the green light to proceed with his loan deal.
The Liverpool midfielder underwent a medical this morning which lasted more than 3 hours (twice as long as expected) and doctors were not satisfied with the outcome.
Juventus will have another look at him tomorrow before deciding whether or not to push ahead with the transfer.
